Rhinoceroses are among the largest of the herbivores, with barrel-shapped bodies, thik legs, and three-toed feet. They have heavy heads, with small eyes low on the cheeks. Rhinoceroses have no incisor or canine teeth, only massive, serrated cheek teeth for grinding vegetation. Their two medial horns grow from the skin and are unattached to bone. Rhinoceroses are hairless, apart from ear fringes and tail bristles. The White Rhinoceros, or square-lipped Rhinoceros, is one of the largest land animals.
